The art of pitching has drastically changed over the years with the advancement of technology. Players can now get immediate feedback to what their actual pitch is doing as it leaves the hand and travels to Homeplate. College coaches and professional organizations are using this technology to identify potential prospects. To take it a step further, players can utilize this technology for continued growth in their development. Gunderson Baseball would like to introduce to you, The Leaderboard, a comprehensive bullpen using Trackman pitch tracking technology. Players will have the opportunity to throw a 30-pitch bullpen, with each pitch being recorded on Trackman. Each bullpen will be video recorded for players to share with college coaches, their high school coaches or for your own use and development. Player’s will receive the following content from each event: 30 pitch bullpen on Trackman, video and Trackman report (pitch avg’s and movement plot chart). To make things even better, we will be creating a “Leaderboard”. Top numbers from each event will be placed on the Leaderboard. Who will be #1? How will it work: Each player will be assigned a time slot (4 kids per 45 min) for a warm-up and bullpen (30 pitches). Each pitcher will throw 2 sets of 15 pitches. Post event, each pitcher will receive their recorded bullpen and a detail trackman report of their pitch metric avg’s and movement plot chart. All of these will be easily shareable for recruiting purposes. Who wants to top The Leaderboard?
